A little about me
As a first-generation Asian American and Christian therapist, I understand how faith, culture, family expectations, relationships, and life experiences can shape who we are and how we see ourselves.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and more than 13 years of experience working with children and families. My approach is warm, genuine, compassionate, and down-to-earth, thoughtfully integrating evidence-based therapy with faith and spirituality when desired.
I believe healing often begins by renewing the way we see ourselves, our circumstances, and what is possible for our future. Our hardest seasons do not have to define us; they can become part of a story of growth, healing, and transformation.
What guides our care
Your experience is met with curiosity, warmth, and respect.
We focus on what helps people feel more understood and less alone.
There is no single right way forward. We begin with what matters to you.
Faith-informed care
Christian faith is a meaningful foundation of my work, shaping a posture of compassion, grace, and hope. When it is meaningful to you, faith and spirituality can be thoughtfully woven into therapy alongside sound clinical care.
Care is also informed by evidence-based and relationship-centered modalities, including:
Experience and approach
With over 13 years of experience working with children and families, and 5 years as a licensed therapist, I bring a broad understanding of the relationships, transitions, and responsibilities that shape people’s lives.
My work is warm, collaborative, and clinically grounded. I draw on evidence-based care while making room for honest conversation, practical tools, and the values that matter most to you.
Your first session
Our first session is about getting to know you—not just what brought you to therapy, but who you are, what you have been carrying, and what you hope might be different. We will figure out where to begin together.
There is no expectation to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable as I listen, ask thoughtful questions, and learn what matters most to you.
Together, we will begin creating a path forward that reflects your needs, values, and goals—whether you are seeking healing, clarity, stronger relationships, renewed hope, or simply a place to process life.
How I show up
I listen carefully for the patterns, strengths, and needs beneath the surface of what you are experiencing. Together, we can make room for reflection while also identifying meaningful next steps.
You can expect a therapeutic space grounded in respect, curiosity, and honesty. I will meet you with care and, when helpful, offer gentle perspective and practical support as you work toward meaningful change.
Who I support
You may be carrying a great deal while trying to stay present for the people you love. Therapy can offer a steady place to pause, be known, and tend to what has been asking for your attention.
I work with young adults, couples, families, parents, and older adults who are navigating change, relationship strain, grief, motherhood and postpartum adjustment, identity questions, and the weight of cultural or family expectations.
Whether you are seeking clarity, healing, stronger connection, or a more grounded way forward, our work can begin with what feels most important to you right now.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward renewed hope and meaningful change.
